Equilla Hicks is compelled by her Christian faith to make a difference in your life.  As a young woman, she grew up having very little confidence and low self-esteem. She understands the significance of someone taking the time to invest in her with love, hope and direction. She has experienced it many times throughout her life, and now she wants to be one of the one’s who makes a difference. Equilla encourages youth and women of all ages to walk in their divine destiny and to be all that God has created them to be.  She shares life experiences and her faith with humor and candor, speaking at women's conferences and other venues. She mentors, counsels, invests her time and resources with men and women in all seasons of life.  Equilla partners with various organizations traveling abroad sharing God’s love with those affected by and predisposed to human trafficking, as well as conducting workshops, participating in local outreaches and providing resources that aide in improving spiritual growth.  She believes that no matter what challenges you may have faced, they can be used as stepping stones towards a better future!  Equilla is the founder of Lift One Up, a non-profit organization focusing on mentoring, coaching and outreach. She is an independent Certified Coach with the John Maxwell Team.​
